CONNECTING THE AUGER TO THE EXCAVATOR

How to Install - Hydraulic Head on a Kubota 1.7-ton Excavator

Before you begin:

• Ensure the machine is turned off.

IMPORTANT

FOR 1.7T AND 0.8T EXCAVATOR

• Release pressure by activating the left foot pedal by rocking it left and right.

IMPORTANT

FOR 3T EXCAVATOR

• Turn Machine on to accessory power only. (not running)
• Release pressure by activating the control by rocking it left and right (red) and/or pressing button (blue)

Installation Steps:

Align the Nipples:

• Check that the small locators on the hydraulic hose are lined up with the notches on both the hydraulic hose and the excavator.

Connect the Male Head:

• Insert the male end of the hydraulic hose (from the head) into the female port on the excavator. Ensure it's securely connected.

Connect the Female Head:

• Attach the female end of the hydraulic head to the male port on the excavator. Push until it locks into place.
